ARCHOS 90 Neon is an outdated Android device, with a high speed Quad-Core processor ticking at 1400 megahertz and a large 9" touch-screen.
Archos equipped this tablet with a great 1.4 gigahertz Quad-Core processor and only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a bit poor for a tablet of this level. Graphic calculations usually consume lots of processing time, so this device has an extra 500 megahertz ARM Mali-400 graphic processing unit to take care of them, leaving the processor free for other tasks. The ARCHOS 90 Neon counts with an 8 GB interesting internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards, allowing the user to store a couple hundred applications without any problem.
Archos didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 16.93 ounces tablet. This device is a compact device, considering it features a 9 inches display and it only has 9.41 inches long. This tablet's thickness (0.46 inches) is a bit far from nowadays standards, but it still feels quite comfortable in the hand.
This device includes a low level 9-inches screen with a 480 x 800 resolution, which makes all photos and movies look like low resolution media.
This device offers WiFi connectivity (although it can't provide it to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot). The ARCHOS 90 Neon doesn't have a SIM card, because it's not a GSM enabled portable tablet.
