Comparison review
The iPhone 8 has a score of 85, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy A8 Star's global score of 82.1. The iPhone 8 body is a lot lighter and a bit thinner than Galaxy A8 Star, despite of the fact that it was released about 11 months before. IPhone 8 has a bit better processing power than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has an inferior number of cores and 4 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit.
IPhone 8 features a bit sharper display than Galaxy A8 Star, although it has a bit lower pixel amount per inch in the screen, a really smaller display and a lot lower resolution of 750 x 1334px. IPhone 8 has a bigger memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory.
Apple iPhone 8 captures clearer photos and videos than Galaxy A8 Star, although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, a lower 3840x2160 video quality, a tinier sensor capturing lower quality videos and photographs and a camera in the back with much less megapixels. Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features a much better battery duration than iPhone 8, because it has a 103 percent more battery capacity.
