Galaxy Note9 has a global score of 87.1, which is just a bit better than iPhone 8's 85 score. Galaxy Note9's construction is newer, but noticeably heavier and somewhat thicker than iPhone 8. Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with a bit better looking screen than iPhone 8, because it has a way higher 1440 x 2960 resolution, a really bigger screen and much more pixels per inch in the display.
IPhone 8 features a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has a lower number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit. The Galaxy Note9 features a little bit better camera than iPhone 8, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the same video frame rates and a back facing camera with a 12 megapixels resolution, the Galaxy Note9 also has a larger camera aperture to capture better low-light captures and a larger back-facing camera sensor which offers a better image and video quality.
The Galaxy Note9 counts with just a bit more storage capacity to install games and applications than iPhone 8, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy Note9 has a much longer battery lifetime than iPhone 8, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 1821mAh.
