Comparison review
The iPhone 8 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, getting a score of 85 against 79.3. The iPhone 8 design is newer and just a little lighter than the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+'s, but it's a little thicker. Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a brighter screen than Apple iPhone 8, because it has a lot higher 2560 x 1440 resolution, a larger screen and much more pixels per display inch.
The iPhone 8 has a quite superior hardware performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a 64-bit processing unit. IPhone 8 has a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity.
Apple iPhone 8 shoots slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has a camera in the back with a way lower resolution, a worse (4K) video definition and a tinier back camera sensor which provides a lower image and video quality, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photos in low-light situations.
Galaxy S6 edge+ features a way better battery lifetime than Apple iPhone 8, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.
Although iPhone 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, letting go some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
