Apple iPhone 8 has an overall score of 85, which is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ2's score of 79.1. The Apple iPhone 8 is a a lot lighter and noticeably thinner phone than the Sony Xperia XZ2, even when both were only released 7 months apart. Sony Xperia XZ2 counts with a bit better screen than iPhone 8, because it has a higher pixel density, a bigger screen, a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a little more brightness.
The Apple iPhone 8 features a bit faster processor than Xperia XZ2, because although it has an inferior number of slower cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit.
