The Asus ROG Phone 5 has a general score of 84.7, which is slightly better than LG V50 ThinQ's overall score of 83.7. The Asus ROG Phone 5 body is newer, but somewhat thicker and a lot heavier than the LG V50 ThinQ. LG V50 ThinQ's processor is just as good as the processing unit in Asus ROG Phone 5, and although the LG V50 ThinQ has lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 cores.
Asus ROG Phone 5 features a bit more vivid display than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a much lower 1080 x 2448 resolution and a much lower pixels density, it also counts with a little bigger screen. LG V50 ThinQ counts with a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Asus ROG Phone 5, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 features a much better battery performance than LG V50 ThinQ, because it has a 6000mAh battery size. Asus ROG Phone 5 captures much better pictures and videos than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing photos and video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a much bigger camera sensor taking lot better quality videos and pictures, a lot higher video resolution and a camera in the back with a way better 64 mega-pixels resolution.
