Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 5 is much better than the OnePlus 8, getting a global score of 84.7 against 76. The Asus ROG Phone 5 body is newer, but noticeably thicker and a lot heavier than the OnePlus 8. The OnePlus 8 counts with a processor that's just as good as the processor in Asus ROG Phone 5, both of them have a 8 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor.
Asus ROG Phone 5 and OnePlus 8 both feature quite similar displays, because although the OnePlus 8 has less brightness, a bit smaller screen and a quite lower 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per display inch. The Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with a little bit better camera than OnePlus 8, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a camera in the back with much more MP, a much better video definition and a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
The OnePlus 8 and Asus ROG Phone 5 count with very similar memory for applications, games, photos and videos, both have equal internal storage capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with a much better battery performance than OnePlus 8, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4300mAh.
