The Galaxy Nexus is a bit better than HTC Desire, with a 65.5 score against 60.6. Both devices we compare here come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Nexus has the older 4.3 version while HTC Desire has Android 4.4. Galaxy Nexus is an way older cellphone than HTC Desire, but Samsung managed to build it just a little thinner and just a little bit lighter anyway.
HTC Desire features a bit superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the HTC Desire also has a higher number of 1200 megahertz cores and a better graphics processor working at 450 MHz. Galaxy Nexus features a sharper display than HTC Desire, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Galaxy Nexus also has a greater count of pixels per display inch and a much higher resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
Galaxy Nexus takes a bit better pictures and videos than HTC Desire, although it has a lower (Full HD) video resolution, a smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light captures and a back-facing camera with lot less mega pixels resolution. Galaxy Nexus has a little bit more memory capacity to store more apps and games than HTC Desire, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage capacity.
The HTC Desire counts with just a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy Nexus, because it has a 17% greater battery capacity.
