Galaxy M31s has a global score of 88, which is better than Huawei P20's global score of 78.1. Even though the Galaxy M31s is newer than the Huawei P20, it's heavier and thicker. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but Galaxy M31s has the older 11 version and Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Huawei P20 has just a bit better display than Galaxy M31s, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a little bit worse 1080 x 2244 resolution, it also counts with a just a little greater pixels density. The Galaxy M31s counts with a bit faster processing unit than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy M31s also has more RAM.
Galaxy M31s counts with a much better memory to install games and applications than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Galaxy M31s also has an external memory slot that holds up to 512 GB. The Galaxy M31s captures much better photos and videos than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the same video frame rates and a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Galaxy M31s also has a way larger back camera sensor which offers a way better photo and video quality and a lot higher resolution camera.
