Comparison review

The Google Pixel XL is just a bit better than Motorola Moto Z4, getting a score of 81.3 against 79.8. Even being the best cellphone in this comparison, we must highlight that it is also notably older, a little bit heavier and thicker. Moto Z4 features a little better hardware performance than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Moto Z4 also has 4 more cores (although slower).

The Google Pixel XL features a bit sharper screen than Moto Z4, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixels amount per inch of screen and a better 1440 x 2560px resolution. The Moto Z4 has a much bigger storage for games and applications than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Moto Z4 also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.

Moto Z4 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Moto Z4 also has a camera in the back with a way higher 48 MP resolution, a larger camera sensor which provides a better photo and video quality and a larger camera aperture.

Motorola Moto Z4 features a little longer battery performance than Google Pixel XL, because it has 3600mAh of battery capacity instead of 3450mAh.

Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Moto Z4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto Z4. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Google Pixel XL, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Moto Z4, giving up a couple specifications.
