Comparison review
Google Nexus 6P has a score of 80.3, which is just a bit better than OnePlus 8's overall score of 76. Despite of the fact that the Google Nexus 6P is way older than the OnePlus 8, it's construction is just a little bit lighter and a bit thinner. OnePlus 8 features just a bit better hardware performance than Google Nexus 6P, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 8 also has 5 GB more RAM.
The OnePlus 8 counts with a little bit better screen than Google Nexus 6P, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a quite lower pixel density, it also counts with a little larger display. OnePlus 8 counts with a greater camera than Google Nexus 6P, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the OnePlus 8 also has a lot better 48 mega pixels resolution back camera, faster video frame rate, a larger back-facing camera sensor shooting better quality pictures and videos and a larger aperture to capture better photos in low-light environments.
Google Nexus 6P's storage for apps and games is very similar to the OnePlus 8 one, both have equal internal memory. OnePlus 8 counts with superior battery lifetime than Google Nexus 6P, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity.
Although Google Nexus 6P is a better device, it is way more expensive than OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as OnePlus 8. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Google Nexus 6P, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the OnePlus 8, giving up some specifications.
