Comparison review
The Galaxy M31s has a global score of 88, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A12's score of 80.3. Although Galaxy M31s and the Samsung Galaxy A12 were released only a couple of months apart, the Galaxy M31s construction is just a little thicker but a little lighter than the Samsung Galaxy A12. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy M31s has a more recent 11 version while Samsung Galaxy A12 has Android 10, giving a couple additional features and optimized performance.
Galaxy M31s features a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy A12, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy M31s also has 2 GB more RAM. Galaxy M31s has a much better display than Galaxy A12, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Galaxy M31s also has a lot better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a better quantity of pixels per inch of display.
Galaxy M31s captures much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy A12, because it has a lot better video definition, a bigger camera aperture to take better photos in low-light environments and a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels. Samsung Galaxy M31s has a bit bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A12, because although it has an external SD slot that allows up to 512 GB against 1 TB, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
Galaxy M31s has longer battery life than Galaxy A12, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
