The Google Pixel XL has an overall score of 81.3, which is slightly better than the Galaxy A7's score of 75.4. Even though Google Pixel XL is newer than Galaxy A7, it's somewhat heavier and extremely thicker. The Samsung Galaxy A7 has a little more vivid screen than Google Pixel XL, although it has a bit inferior pixels amount per screen inch and a lot worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, they both have a same size display.
Google Pixel XL counts with much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A7, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 112 GB more internal memory. The Galaxy A7 features a little better hardware performance than Google Pixel XL, because although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit processor, 4 more cpu cores and an additional graphics co-processor.
The Google Pixel XL has a very superior camera than Galaxy A7, because although it has a lower resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality. The Google Pixel XL has superior battery life than Galaxy A7, because it has 3450mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy A7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy A7. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Google Pixel XL, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy A7, giving up a couple features and specifications.
