Samsung Galaxy A80 has an overall score of 84.9, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018)'s score of 84.2. Samsung Galaxy A80's design is a lot heavier and thicker than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018). Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy A80, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2220 pixels and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little greater pixel density.

The Galaxy A80 and the Galaxy A7 (2018) both have incredibly similar CPUs, and although the Galaxy A7 (2018) has less RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores. The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) counts with a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy A80, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy A80 features just a little bit longer battery life than Galaxy A7 (2018), because it has a 12% larger battery size. Galaxy A80 has a little bit better camera than Galaxy A7 (2018), because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for taking photos or videos in low light situations, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 video quality, a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels and a way larger back-facing camera sensor providing a way better image quality.
