The Galaxy M31 has an overall score of 86.5, which is just a bit better than the Apple iPhone 7 Plus's 83.8 general score. Even though the Galaxy M31 is noticeably newer than the Apple iPhone 7 Plus, it's a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker. The Galaxy M31 has just a bit better hardware performance than iPhone 7 Plus, because it has a higher amount of RAM and more cores.
The Apple iPhone 7 Plus counts with a little more vivid screen than Galaxy M31, because although it has a little worse screen density, a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a brighter screen. The Galaxy M31 counts with a greater camera than iPhone 7 Plus, and although they both have the same video resolution, a F1.8 camera aperture and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy M31 also has a camera with lot more MP and a much bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
