Comparison review
Galaxy M31 has a global score of 86.5, which is slightly better than the Asus ROG Phone 5's general score of 84.7. The Galaxy M31 is an older phone than Asus ROG Phone 5, but it is thinner and somewhat lighter anyway. The Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has a just a little worse screen density, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2448px, a bit bigger screen and a much brighter screen.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 features a bit better performance than Galaxy M31, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has more RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy M31 has more storage for applications and games than Asus ROG Phone 5, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
Asus ROG Phone 5's battery life is just as good as Galaxy M31's battery life. Asus ROG Phone 5 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy M31, and although they both have a camera with a 64 mega-pixels, a F1.8 camera aperture and the same back camera sensor size, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a way higher 7680x4320 video quality.
