Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M31 has an overall score of 86.5, which is slightly better than the Moto Z4's score of 79.8. Both devices in this review use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy M31 has newer 11 version while Moto Z4 has Android 10, so it counts with lots of additional features. Samsung Galaxy M31's construction is newer than Moto Z4's, although it's somewhat heavier and thicker.
The Galaxy M31 features just a little better processing power than Motorola Moto Z4, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy M31 also has more RAM memory. The Galaxy M31 features a slightly better looking display than Moto Z4. Both have a greater pixel count in each inch of display, a display with the same size and the same resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
Samsung Galaxy M31 has a slightly better camera than Motorola Moto Z4, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also counts with a bigger sensor capturing higher quality videos and photos and a much more mega-pixels back facing camera.
The Moto Z4 has a much bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy M31, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB, the Moto Z4 also has 128 GB internal memory. The Galaxy M31 features a superior battery life than Moto Z4, because it has a 67 percent larger battery capacity.
