The Galaxy M31 has a global score of 86.5, which is just a bit better than Galaxy A7 (2018)'s general score of 84.2. The Galaxy M31 design is newer, but heavier and thicker than Galaxy A7 (2018). Galaxy M31 has just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018). Both of them have a 6 GB RAM and 8 cpu cores.
Galaxy M31 counts with a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018), because although it has a just a little lower display pixels density, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a bit larger display. Galaxy A7 (2018) has much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy M31, and although they both have a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB, the Galaxy A7 (2018) also has 128 GB internal memory capacity.
