Comparison review
Galaxy M31 is a bit better than Xperia 5, having an 86.5 score against 81. The Galaxy M31 construction is a little thicker and heavier than Xperia 5. Sony Xperia 5 features just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy M31. Both have a 6 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor. Sony Xperia 5 has a display that is very similar to Galaxy M31's screen, because although the Sony Xperia 5 has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2520 and a little bit greater display pixels density.
Galaxy M31 features a greater camera than Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for shooting pictures in low light environments, and they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy M31 also counts with a much higher resolution back camera and a much bigger camera sensor shooting lot better quality photos and videos.
The Xperia 5 features a much better memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy M31, and although they both have a SD card slot that admits up to 512 GB, the Xperia 5 also has 64 GB more internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a way better battery duration than Xperia 5, because it has a 6000mAh battery size against 3140mAh.
