Galaxy Note9 is just a bit better than Asus ROG Phone 5, having a global score of 87.1 against 84.7. The Galaxy Note9 is an older phone than Asus ROG Phone 5, but Samsung was able to build it lighter and thinner anyway. Asus ROG Phone 5 has a slightly better screen than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has a way worse 1080 x 2448 resolution and a bit inferior pixel quantity in each inch of display, it also counts with a quite bigger display.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a much better storage to store more apps and games than Asus ROG Phone 5, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Asus ROG Phone 5's CPU is just as good as Samsung Galaxy Note9's processing unit, and although the Asus ROG Phone 5 has a higher amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Asus ROG Phone 5 features a superior battery life than Galaxy Note9, because it has a 6000mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh. The Asus ROG Phone 5 has a way better camera than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low-light images and video, it also counts with a lot higher 7680x4320 video quality, a way bigger sensor taking way better quality videos and photos and a back camera with a much higher 64 mega pixels resolution.
