Comparison review
Galaxy Note9 has a general score of 87.1, which is better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s's general score of 76.4. Galaxy Note9 is a newer phone than Xiaomi Mi 5s, although it's just a little thicker and heavier. The Galaxy Note9 has a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has more RAM and a greater number of cores.
Xiaomi Mi 5s and Samsung Galaxy Note9 feature very similar displays, although the Xiaomi Mi 5s has a just a little inferior pixel quantity per screen inch, a bit smaller screen and a way worse 1080 x 1920px resolution. Galaxy Note9 captures a little bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor which provides a lower photo and video quality, and they both have a 12 megapixels back-facing camera and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Galaxy Note9 also counts with a much bigger aperture to capture better captures and video in poorly lited environments and faster 60 frames per second video frame rates.
Galaxy Note9 features a much greater memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Note9 also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features improved battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 25% greater battery size.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 costs more than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
