The Xperia 1 III is much better than vivo X70 Pro, getting a 93.3 score against 78.3. Even though Xperia 1 III is better than vivo X70 Pro, it must be told that it's also a little bit thicker and just a bit heavier. Both devices in this review work with the same Android 11 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any differences in that aspect.
Sony Xperia 1 III has a better looking display than vivo X70 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1644 x 3840 and much more pixels per inch of screen. Vivo X70 Pro features a little bit better processing power than Xperia 1 III. Both of them have the same number of cores and 12 GB of RAM.
Sony Xperia 1 III has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than vivo X70 Pro, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 1 TB. The vivo X70 Pro's battery life is just as good as the battery duration in Sony Xperia 1 III, although the vivo X70 Pro has just 4450mAh of battery capacity against 4500mAh.
The vivo X70 Pro features a superior camera than Xperia 1 III, because although it has worse 60 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same aperture and the same video definition, the vivo X70 Pro also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor and a way higher resolution back facing camera.
