Sony Xperia XZ2 is just a bit better than LG V20, getting a overall score of 79.1 against 77. Sony Xperia XZ2's body is newer, but incredibly thicker and somewhat heavier than LG V20. Xperia XZ2 features a little more vivid screen than LG V20, although it has a much lower resolution of 1080 x 2160px and a little lower pixel density, they both have a display of the same size.
Sony Xperia XZ2 has a bit better processing unit than LG V20, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Sony Xperia XZ2 also has more cpu cores. LG V20 has much more storage to store more games and applications than Xperia XZ2, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the LG V20 also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Xperia XZ2 takes just a bit better photographs and videos than LG V20, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for taking images and videos in low light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Xperia XZ2 also counts with a camera with a higher resolution, higher 60 fps video frame rates and a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The LG V20 counts with a battery lifetime that's very similar to the battery lifetime in Sony Xperia XZ2, although the LG V20 also has a 1% greater battery size.
