Xperia 5 has a global score of 81, which is a little bit better than the Xperia XZ3's score of 79.6. Xperia 5's design is newer, thinner and lighter than the Xperia XZ3. Sony Xperia XZ3 features a bit better screen than Xperia 5, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels and a little bit more pixels per inch in the display.

The Sony Xperia 5 counts with a bit better performance than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 5 also has 2 GB more RAM. The Xperia XZ3 shoots clearer videos and photos than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low light photos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia XZ3 also counts with a bigger sensor and a much more mega-pixels back camera.
