Comparison review
The Apple iPhone 7 Plus is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5s, having an 83.8 score against 76.4. Although the Apple iPhone 7 Plus and the Xiaomi Mi 5s were released only a couple of months apart, Apple iPhone 7 Plus's body is much heavier but also just a little thinner. The Xiaomi Mi 5s has a little bit better looking display than iPhone 7 Plus, because although it has less brightness and a little bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, the Xiaomi Mi 5s also counts with a little bit better pixel density.
The iPhone 7 Plus has a much better memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Apple iPhone 7 Plus counts with a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 5s, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The iPhone 7 Plus and Xiaomi Mi 5s both feature similar cameras, because although the iPhone 7 Plus has a much smaller back camera sensor, and they both have a same resolution back camera, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video resolution, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with just a little bit longer battery life than Apple iPhone 7 Plus, because it has a 3200mAh battery capacity instead of 2900mAh.
Although iPhone 7 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi 5s. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Xiaomi Mi 5s, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
