Acer F900 Review

Acer F900 is a low level Windows Mobile Professional phone launched in February 2009, counting with a 3.2 MP back-facing camera, a good processing unit ticking at 533 MHz and a 3.8" screen.

Acer decided to equip this device with a powerful CPU speeding at 533 MHz and as little as 128 MB of RAM memory.

Apparently Acer forgot about optimizing the weight, leaving it live with a weight of 5.29 ounces. This phone is quite thick compared to nowadays cellphones, with a thickness of 0.62 inches.

This phone has only a 3.2 mega-pixels back-facing camera. This camera also includes auto-focus and flash.

Acer equipped the Acer F900 with a nice 3.8 inches screen, and a 800 x 480 resolution, which makes all pictures and movies look colorful and brightful. This screen uses TFT resistive technology, but it doesn't allow multi-touch gestures.

This device features wifi connection (but it can't share it with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and 3G fast connection type, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

This device also features a couple nice characteristics as Bluetooth (allows communication with other bluetooth phones, computers and accessories) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor and Accelerometer.

This phone features a 1530 mAh medium capacity Li-Ion battery, which is quite low for a demanding phone like this. According to Acer, this device has an estimated talk time of 4 hs and a stand by time of 150 hs.

Acer is offering this phone for $ 935, which is not cheap for comparing with other similar phones.
