Nokia X6 16GB Review

Nokia X6 16GB is a mid-to-low level Symbian cellphone released some years ago, in 2010, with a 5 megapixels back side camera, a powerful 434 MHz CPU and a medium sized 3.2" touch-screen. But it's time to get into some more detail.

Nokia sells this cellphone with a good processing unit speeding at 434 MHz with only 128 MB RAM memory. This phone counts with a good 16 GB internal storage and whereas it doesn't count with an SD memory card expansion slot, it should be enough to store a couple hundred games and apps, but it may not be suitable if you are planning to install some of the heaviest games currently available or taking tons of photos and videos.

This device is a bit thick compared to nowadays devices, being as thick as 0.54". The Nokia X6 16GB is 4.37" long and 2.01" wide, but it's only able to hold a smaller 3.2" screen. This device feels quite heavy comparing with today standards, with a weight of 4.3 ounces.

This phone has only a 5 MP back camera. It is capable of capturing videos in VGA 640x480 at 30 fps. This camera also counts with flash and auto-focus.

Nokia designed this cellphone with a interesting 3.2" screen, and a resolution of 640 x 360 , giving this cellphone a good graphical experience. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, but it's not multi-touch.

The Nokia X6 16GB uses a 1320 mAh medium sized Li-Ion replaceable battery providing the Nokia X6 16GB with a poor battery life. Nokia afirms this phone has a 11.5 hours talk time and a 420 hs stand by time.

This phone offers Wi-Fi connection (but it can't provide it to other devices around, as a mobile mobile hotspot) and fast 3G data connection, supported by HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Nokia X6 16GB works with a SIM card for GSM connection.

The Nokia X6 16GB also features a couple useful characteristics as Bluetooth (provides communication with other cellphones, computers and accessories) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and Accelerometer.

This cellphone is very expensive considering it is offerred for 149 dollars, and other similar cellphones can be found for much less money.
