Alcatel OneTouch S'Pop Review

Alcatel OneTouch S'Pop is a decent device launched many years ago, featuring a 3.5 inches multi touch screen, a fast 1 gigahertz CPU, and 2 cameras, a 3.2 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 MP front side camera.

This cellphone is a bit heavy comparing with today standards, weighting 4.3 ounces. Alcatel sells the Alcatel OneTouch S'Pop in multiple color variations: black, purple, pink, orange, green, blue, red and white.

This cellphone is equipped with a good 3.5 inches display with a 480 x 320 resolution, which makes everything look quite good. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

This phone ships with a powerful 1000 MHz CPU and 512 MB RAM. This phone comes with a 2 GB internal memory, a medium quantity that should be enough for most users knowing that it also has an external SD slot .

The Alcatel OneTouch S'Pop has Wi-Fi connection (but it can't provide it to other devices around, acting as a wireless router) and the fastest 3G connection type, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM carriers.

This cellphone features two cameras, a 3.2 mega-pixels back side camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera.

The Alcatel OneTouch S'Pop also includes a few nice characteristics such as Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Navigation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This device features a good 1400 mAh replaceable battery, which is not really enough for a demanding device like this. Alcatel informs a talk time of 5 hs and a stand by time of 254 hs for this cellphone.

This phone is being sold for around 249 dollars, not cheap for this type of phone.
