Kyocera DuraXV Extreme Review

Kyocera DuraXV Extreme is a mid-end phone released a couple of years ago, in 2020, packing a 5 MP back-facing camera, a fast Quad-Core CPU running at 1200 megahertz and a 2.6 inches display.

This phone is a little bit thick compared to nowadays phones, with its 1.07" thickness. This phone is 4.36" long, but it's only able to hold a much smaller 2.6 inches display. About its body design materials, the Kyocera DuraXV Extreme is built with Plastic . Kyocera didn't put much effort to reduce weight in this 6.8 oz phone, much heavier than other similar phones. Kyocera is offering this cellphone in color black.

Kyocera equipped this phone with a good 2.6 inches display, and a resolution of 240 x 320 (QVGA), which makes everything look quite nice.

Kyocera decided to sell this phone with a good performance 1200 MHz Quad-Core CPU, bundled in a Qualcomm 215 system chip and a large 2 GB RAM memory. An interesting aspect of this cellphone is its 16 GB quite big internal memory and an external memory slot, which allows the user to install a couple hundred apps and games without worrying about space.

This phone counts with WiFi connectivity (which can be provided to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G (LTE) fast connectivity and the fastest 3G connection type, using HSPA and HSUPA technologies. This cellphone doesn't use a SIM card, because it's not a GSM device.

This cellphone only features a 5 megapixels back facing camera. It also films videos in HD 1280x720. This camera also has auto-focus.

The Kyocera DuraXV Extreme features a medium sized 1770 mAh Li - Ion replaceable battery, which is quite low for a demanding cellphone like this.
