Apple iPhone 5c Review

Apple iPhone 5c is a great device released many years ago, packed with a very fast Dual-Core processing unit clocking at 1300 megahertz, a 4" display, an 8 MP back facing camera and a 1.2 mega-pixels front-facing camera.

Apple decided to power this cellphone using a high performance Dual-Core CPU clocking at 1300 megahertz, included in the Apple A6 system chip and only 1016 MB RAM which is a little low considering this phone's awesome processor. A good advantage of this phone is its quite large 16 GB internal memory and while it doesn't have a slot for external memory cards, it should be enough to store a couple hundred applications, but it probably wouldn't be suitable if you are planning to install a couple of the heaviest games currently available or taking tons of pictures and videos.

It seems like Apple decided not to care much about the weight in this 4.66 ounces cellphone. Talking about its body materials, the iPhone 5c is mostly created with Polycarbonate. Apple is offering this phone in a wide range of colors like pink, yellow, green, blue and white. This phone is incredibly thin and practical, with a thickness of just 0.35".

This phone is equipped with two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back camera and a 1.2 MP front facing camera. It is capable of filming videos in Full HD 1920x1080 at 30 fps. To complete the camera, it also counts with multiple interesting features like flash, auto-focus, digital image stabilization, face detection shooting, time lapse video, HDR mode and geo tagging.

Apple equipped the Apple iPhone 5c with a great 4" display, and a 1136 x 640 resolution, making everything look vivid and colorful. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, with a brightness of 500 candela/m2 and can detect multi touch gestures.

This phone counts with a 1507 mAh medium sized Li-Ion non-replaceable battery providing the iPhone 5c with a quite short battery duration. Apple reports a stand by time of 250 hs and a talk time of 10 hs for this phone. A possible problem to consider is that this cellphone's battery isn't removable so you can't buy a new battery when it starts losing capacity, having to replace the whole phone or maybe take it to someone who can open it and replace the battery.

This device features WiFi connectivity (and it can share it with other devices acting as a wireless modem), LTE 4G great performance connection type and also HSPA+ data connection, that is a slower 4G variation and the fastest 3G connectivity, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The iPhone 5c uses a Nano SIM card to use GSM services and it can work with both CDMA and GSM networks.

The iPhone 5c also includes a couple useful characteristics as Bluetooth (allows communication with other bluetooth cellphones, computers and accessories) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

The Apple iPhone 5c may be a little bit expensive considering it is offerred for 245 dollars, while some similar phones can be found for less money. No matter whether you you love taking pictures, will use it as a work phone, want this cellphone mostly for social networks or will use it for playing games, this cellphone is a very good choice for you.
