Apple iPhone 5c Review

Apple iPhone 5c is an impressive phone released many years ago, coming with an exceptional Dual-Core processing unit ticking at 1300 MHz, a 4" capacitive screen, and two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back side camera and a 1.2 megapixels front-facing camera. Great! That's it? No, it's only the introduction of a detailed review.

Apple offers the iPhone 5c in multiple color variations like pink, yellow, green, blue and white. Being just 0.35 inches thick,this phone is very thin and comfortable. Regarding its body materials, this cellphone is created with Polycarbonate. This time, it seems like Apple forgot about optimizing the weight in this 4.66 oz cellphone.

Apple decided to build this cellphone with an extremely powerful 1300 MHz Dual-Core CPU, packed into an Apple A6 system chip and only 1016 MB of RAM memory which is a bit disappointing comparing with its powerful processor. A great advantage of the Apple iPhone 5c is its huge 32 GB internal memory and whereas it doesn't include an external SD slot, it it is more than enough to store lots of apps, games, pictures and videos without even thinking about running out of space.

This cellphone features two cameras, an 8 MP back camera and a 1.2 MP front-facing camera. It also shoots videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 frames per second. To complete the camera, it also features a lot of cool features: auto-focus, flash, face detection shooting, digital image stabilization, HDR mode, time lapse video and geo tagging.

This phone is equipped with a spectacular 4 inches screen with a 1136 x 640 resolution, which makes all images and videos look completely perfect. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, with a vivid 500 candela/m² brightness and allows multi-touch gestures.

The Apple iPhone 5c counts with wi-fi connectivity (which can be shared with other devices as a mobile hotspot), LTE (4G) high speed data connection and also HSPA+ internet connection, which is a bit slower 4G variation and fast 3G connectivity, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a Nano SIM card for GSM carriers and it can connect to both GSM and CDMA carriers.

This cellphone also features a couple nice features like Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This cellphone has a 1507 mAh medium sized Li-Ion non-replaceable battery that can keep it running for many hours, although you will find yourself looking for a place to charge it even after moderate usage. According to Apple, the iPhone 5c has an aproximate 10 hours talk time and a 250 hs stand by time. A big issue to evaluate is that this phone's battery is not replaceable so you can't change it when it starts to live shorter, having to replace the whole phone.

This cellphone costs about $ 205, which is not very cheap for this kind of cellphone.
