ARCHOS 50b Helium 4G is a mid-to-low level Android cellphone, counting with a great 1200 MHz Quad-Core processor, a pretty large 5 inches screen, an 8 MP back-facing camera and a 2 mega-pixels front camera.
Whereas this phone just has 5.71 inches long, it manages to contain a 5" display. This cellphone is just 0.35" thick, taking it to the thinnest cellphone's category. This phone is available just in color black.
Archos decided to power this phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 system chip, holding an extremely fast 1200 megahertz Quad-Core CPU with only 1 GB of RAM which is a bit low comparing with its powerful processing power. Handling graphic calculations, it also uses an Adreno 306 graphic processing unit clocking at 450 MHz. This cellphone counts with aquite big 8 GB internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards, which allows you to install a couple hundred games and applications without worrying about space.
The ARCHOS 50b Helium 4G is equipped with a nice 5" display with a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, which makes all photos and movies look vivid. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.
This device features two cameras, an 8 MP back side camera and a 2 megapixels front camera. The ARCHOS 50b Helium 4G can also film Full HD 1920x1080 videos. In addition, this cellphone's camera also counts with flash and auto-focus.
The ARCHOS 50b Helium 4G packs a 2000 mAh medium Li-Polymer battery that can keep it running for some hours, although you will probably find yourself looking for a place to charge it if you use it heavily.
This cellphone offers wifi capability (although it can't be shared with other devices acting as a wireless router or modem), 4G LTE high speed internet connection and also HSPA+ data connection, that is a lower speed 4G variation and 3G fast connection type, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone comes with two Micro SIM cards so it's able to use two different phone numbers and even different carriers in the same phone.
The ARCHOS 50b Helium 4G also comes with some nice characteristics like Bluetooth, GPS (Global Positioning System) and FM Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This cellphone is not a good choice considering it is offerred for 249 dollars, while some similar cellphones cost a lot less than that.
