AT&T Z998 is a decently made Android device, which counts with a 4.5-inches multi touch screen, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a high speed Dual-Core CPU ticking at 1200 megahertz.
This phone is very slim, but it's not close to being one of the thinnest cellphones you can find, with a thickness of 0.4 inches. Although this phone is only 5.2" long and 2.6" wide, it still manages to contain a 4.5 inches screen. AT&T only sells this cellphone in color black. It seems like AT&T didn't care about the weight in this 4.8 ounces cellphone.
AT&T decided to design the AT&T Z998 using a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8930 system chip, packing a high performance 1.2 GHz Dual-Core processor with only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little bit disappointing for such a good cellphone. Collaborating with graphic intensive games and apps, it also uses a 450 megahertz Adreno 305 graphics processing unit. This cellphone has a 4 GB internal storage memory, a passable quantity that should be enough considering that it also has an SD extension slot to store songs, photographs and videos.
This cellphone is equipped with a nice 960 x 540 4.5 inches screen, giving this device a very nice image quality. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.
The AT&T Z998 provides wifi connection (which can be shared with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), LTE (4G) high speed connectivity and fast 3G internet connection, over HSPA and EDGE technologies. The AT&T Z998 uses a SIM card for GSM services.
The AT&T Z998 is only equipped with a 5 mega-pixels back side camera. The AT&T Z998 also captures HD 1280x720 videos. In addition, the camera features flash.
This cellphone also features a couple cool characteristics such as Bluetooth and GPS Navigation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
The AT&T Z998 packs a huge 2070 mAh removable battery that can keep this cellphone running for several hours, but you may need to charge it after some heavy use.
The AT&T Z998 is being sold for about $ 105, which is very expensive for this type of phone.
