Motorola ELECTRIFY 2 Review

Motorola ELECTRIFY 2 is a solid Android cellphone released back in the year 2012, which features a medium 4.3" touch-screen, a great performance Dual-Core processing unit running at 1.2 gigahertz, and 2 cameras, an 8 megapixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front side camera.

This cellphone is very slim and good-looking, being just 0.33" thick. It appears that Motorola forgot about weight optimization in this 4.59 oz phone. About its design, this device is mostly manufactured with kevlar.

The Motorola ELECTRIFY 2 is equipped with a very good 960 x 540 4.3 inches screen, which makes all photos and movies look very good. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

Motorola ships this cellphone with a fast 1200 megahertz Dual-Core CPU and 1 GB RAM memory.

This phone has two cameras, an 8 megapixels back side camera and a 0.3 MP front camera. It is also able to capture 1920x1080 Full HD videos. Additionally, the camera counts with flash.

This phone offers wi-fi capability (which it can share with other devices acting as a modem or router) and 3G fast connectivity, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS, EV-DO A and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a SIM card to use GSM services and it can connect using both CDMA and GSM networks.

The Motorola ELECTRIFY 2 also features a couple of interesting characteristics like Bluetooth (4.0, EDR) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone uses a mid capacity 1780 mAh Li-Polymer replaceable battery, which is not really enough for a consuming cellphone like this. Motorola afirms this cellphone has a 11 hs talk time and a 264 hs stand by time.

This phone is not very cheap considering it costs $ 95, while many similar phones are being sold much cheaper than that. If you will use this phone mainly for internet broswing and social networks, you will definitely love this cellphone.
