Samsung Omnia M is an interesting Windows Phone 7.5 Mango device launched in May 2012, provisioned with a good performance 1 GHz processing unit, a medium 4-inches multi touch capacitive screen, a 5 mega-pixels back camera and a 0.3 megapixels front facing camera.
This cellphone's thickness , 0.41 inches, is a little bit far from current standards, but it still feels quite right in the hand. Samsung made a really good job making this cellphone weight just 4.21 oz.
Samsung decided to equip this phone using a powerful 1 GHz CPU, packed into the Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7227A system chip with only 384 MB RAM memory. To help with graphic intensive games and applications, it also uses a 200 MHz Adreno 200 (enhanced) GPU. This cellphone counts with a moderate 4 GB internal memory, which may be a little small knowing that it doesn't have an external memory slot.
Samsung equipped this phone with a good level 4" display, and a 800 x 480 resolution, which makes everything look colorful and brightful. Its display uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.
This cellphone includes wi-fi connectivity (although it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a hotspot) and fast 3G connection type, over HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This device uses a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.
The Samsung Omnia M features two cameras, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front side camera. This cellphone can also shoot videos in VGA 640x480 at 30 fps. This camera also counts with a few useful characteristics: auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.
This phone also includes some interesting characteristics like Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This device comes with a 1500 mAh medium sized Li-Ion removable battery that can keep it running for many hours, although you will need to charge it even after moderate usage. Samsung claims this cellphone has a 530 hours stand by time and a 12.7 hours talk time.
This cellphone is a little bit overvalued considering it is priced 85 dollars, while other similar cellphones are quite cheaper than that. If you will use this phone mainly for social networks, this cellphone is the correct choice .
