Samsung Omnia M is a nice Windows Phone 7.5 Mango phone released in May 2012, having a great performance processing unit clocking at 1000 megahertz, a 4" multi-touch capacitive display, a 5 megapixels back camera and a 0.3 MP front side camera. Let's take a better look at what this phone has to offer.
Samsung has made a really good job making the Samsung Omnia M weight only 4.21 oz. The Samsung Omnia M's thickness of 0.41" is a little bit far from today's standards, but it still feels fine in the hand.
Samsung decided to build this device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7227A chip, which holds a good performance CPU clocking at 1 gigahertz and only 384 MB of RAM memory. Handling graphic rendering, this cellphone also uses an Adreno 200 (enhanced) graphic processing unit running at 200 MHz. This phone counts with an 8 GB interesting internal memory and though it doesn't count with an external memory card slot, it is enough to install a couple hundred apps, although it may not be suitable if you are fan of the heaviest games available nowadays or taking tons of pictures and videos.
This cellphone has two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front camera. The Samsung Omnia M also films videos in 640x480 (VGA) at 30 fps. To complete the camera, it also features some useful characteristics like auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.
This device has a good level 800 x 480 4" display, which makes everything look colorful and brightful. This display uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.
The Samsung Omnia M includes wifi connection (although it can't be provided to other devices as a mobile mobile hotspot) and fast 3G connection type, over HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card for GSM services.
This phone also features a handful of useful features like Bluetooth and GPS (Global Positioning System), and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This cellphone features a 1500 mAh medium sized Li-Ion battery that provides this phone a not very long battery duration. Samsung claims this cellphone has a 12.7 hours talk time and a 530 hours stand by time.
This cellphone is priced $ 85, quite expensive for this kind of cellphone. In case are looking for a cellphone to mainly use social networks and internet browsing, this phone is a good choice for you.
