BlackBerry Priv Review

BlackBerry Priv is a fascinating Android cellphone, featuring a pretty big 5.4-inches multi-touch display, an extremely fast 1800 megahertz CPU, an 18 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 2 megapixels front facing camera.

Blackberry decided to equip this cellphone with an extremely powerful 1800 MHz processor, packed into a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 MSM8992 chip with a great 3 GB RAM. A good point of the BlackBerry Priv is its 32 GB huge internal memory and an SD memory card expansion slot, allowing the user to store hundreds of apps without even thinking about filling it.

Apparently Blackberry forgot about optimizing the weight in this 6.77 oz cellphone. Although this cellphone is just 5.79 inches long, it's still able to fit a a 5.4 inches display. This phone has a beautiful design, with a thickness of just 0.37 inches.

This phone features two cameras, an 18 megapixels back facing camera and a 2 MP front camera. This cellphone can also capture 4K 3840x2160 videos at 30 fps, and slow-motion videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD) up to 60 fps. In addition, this cellphone's camera also counts with some useful features like flash, face detection shooting, optical image stabilization and geo tagging.

Blackberry equipped this phone with an awesome 5.4 inches display, and a resolution of 2560 x 1440 (Quad HD / 2K), which makes it impossible to even see the pixels that compose the display. Its display uses AMOLED capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This phone features a 3410 mAh great non-replaceable battery that provides this cellphone an extremely long battery duration. An issue to consider is that this cellphone's battery is not removable so you can't change it when it starts to have trouble holding its charge, though with such a huge battery size you will probably discard this cellphone before that happens.

This device includes WiFi capability (but it can't be provided to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G LTE-A , the fastest connection type and the fastest 3G connectivity, using HSPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. The BlackBerry Priv uses a Nano SIM card to use GSM services.

The BlackBerry Priv also features many cool features like Wireless charging system, NFC (Near Field Communication), Bluetooth (allows communication with other bluetooth cellphones and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone may not be a very good choice considering it costs $ 280, and many similar cellphones can be found for less money. No matter whether you want a cellphone to play games, you love taking photographs, are looking for a work phone or will use it as a social cellphone, you will probably love this cellphone.
