BlackBerry Priv Review

BlackBerry Priv is a great cellphone launched some years ago, in 2015, packing a 1800 megahertz Hexa-Core CPU, a good size 5.4" screen, and 2 cameras, an 18 megapixels back side camera and a 2 MP front facing camera.

The BlackBerry Priv has a wonderful design, with a thickness of just 0.37 inches. This phone is quite a compact cellphone, taking into consideration it presents a 5.4" screen and it is only 5.79 inches long. It seems like Blackberry forgot about weight optimization in this 6.77 oz device.

Blackberry designed this phone with an amazing 5.4 inches display, and a 1440 x 2560 (Quad HD / 2K) resolution, giving this cellphone an amazing image quality.

Blackberry equipped this cellphone with a great Hexa-Core processor running at 1800 megahertz, bundled in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 MSM8992 chip and a huge 3 GB of RAM. An excellent aspect of this cellphone is its inmense 32 GB internal storage and an SD extension slot, allowing you to install lots of applications, games, pictures and videos without even thinking about filling the phone.

This phone has two cameras, an 18 MP back side camera and a 2 mega-pixels front-facing camera. It can also shoot videos in 4K 3840x2160 at 30 frames per second, and slow-motion videos in (Full HD) (1920x1080) up to 60 frames per second (2 times slower than reality). Additionally, this phone's camera also has auto-focus.

The BlackBerry Priv counts with wifi connection (although it can't be shared with other devices acting as a hotspot), 4G LTE-A ultra fast connectivity and 3G fast internet connection, over HSPA and HSUPA technologies. This cellphone works with a Nano SIM card for GSM carriers.

This phone also includes lots of great features as Wireless charging, NFC, Bluetooth (provides communication with other bluetooth devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone uses a 3410 mAh amazing non-replaceable battery that can keep it running for many hours and even reach the end of the day without charging it. An issue to take into account is that this phone's battery is not removable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it begins losing capacity, whereas with so much capacity you will probably replace this cellphone before it becomes an issue.

Blackberry offers the BlackBerry Priv for $ 699, which is a high price for a cellphone this level.
