BlackBerry Q10 Review

Verizon (RFM121LW)     See other variants reviews Score: 60.8 / 100

BlackBerry Q10 is a pretty good cellphone released in 2013, which counts with a little 3.1-inches multi touch capacitive screen, a high performance Dual-Core processor speeding at 1500 megahertz, and two cameras, an 8 megapixels back facing camera and a 2 mega-pixels front camera. But let's get into more detail.

Blackberry ships this cellphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 chip, holding a very powerful 1.5 gigahertz Dual-Core CPU with a big 2 GB of RAM. Graphic intensive applications and games usually uses a lot of CPU cycles, so it also has an Adreno 225 GPU running at 400 megahertz to help handle those graphic tasks. A nice advantage of this cellphone is its quite large 16 GB internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards, which allows you to install hundreds of games and apps without any trouble.

Though this phone is thin it's not close to being one of the thinnest devices on sale, with a thickness of 0.41 inches. This phone isn't really a compact cellphone, considering it is 4.71" long and 2.63 inches wide, but it just packs a 3.1 inches display. Blackberry appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 4.9 ounces phone.

This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back camera and a 2 megapixels front-facing camera. It is also able to film videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD). The camera also features a few nice features: flash, digital image stabilization and auto-focus.

Blackberry equipped the BlackBerry Q10 with a beautiful 3.1-inches display, and a 720 x 720 resolution, providing this device with a delightful image quality. Its display uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

The BlackBerry Q10 uses a 2100 mAh big Li-Ion replaceable battery that provides this device a quite long battery life. Blackberry reports a 13 hs talk time and a 367 hs stand by time for this phone.

This cellphone counts with wifi capability (and it can be shared with other devices around, acting as a wireless modem), LTE (4G) fast internet connection and the fastest 3G connection type, over HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The BlackBerry Q10 works with a SIM card for GSM services and it works with both CDMA and GSM networks.

This cellphone also comes with many great features like NFC (Near Field Communication), Bluetooth, GPS Navigation and Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This device is priced about $ 649, high for this kind of cellphone. The BlackBerry Q10 is definitely a good choice for you it doesn't matter whether you want it to play games, need this device for work or will use this phone majorly for internet broswing and social networks.
