BLU Win Jr Review

BLU Win Jr is a decently made Windows Phone 8.1 cellphone, featuring a high-tech 1.2 gigahertz Quad-Core processor, a 4" capacitive screen, and two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front facing camera. Let's take a better view of what this phone has to offer.

BLU ships the BLU Win Jr with an exceptional Quad-Core CPU ticking at 1.2 GHz, packed into a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chip with only 512 MB RAM memory which is a bit disappointing for a device this powerful. To handle graphic intensive games and applications, it also has an Adreno 302 graphic processing unit speeding at 400 MHz. This phone comes with a 4 GB internal storage, a common quantity that should be enough for the vast majority of users knowing that it also has an external memory slot .

This cellphone is quite thin and comfortable, whereas it's not as slim as many other devices on sale, with a thickness of 0.42". This phone is offerred in a lot of color options like pink, orange, yellow and white. This phone isn't very light comparing to other devices , with a weight of 4.41 oz.

This device features two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front facing camera. This phone can also capture videos up to 1280x720 (HD) at 30 fps. In addition, this phone's camera also counts with some interesting characteristics: auto-focus, flash, face detection shooting, geo tagging and HDR mode.

BLU equipped the BLU Win Jr with a good level 4 inches screen, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , giving this phone a good graphic quality. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, but it's not multi-touch.

This cellphone features a 1950 mAh mid capacity Li-Ion battery that can keep it running for many hours, although you will need to charge it even after moderate use. BLU afirms this cellphone has a stand by time of 700 hs and a talk time of 19 hs.

This cellphone features WiFi capability (which it can share with other devices as a mobile hotspot), 4G (HSPA+) internet connection, which is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and 3G fast connection type, using HSDPA and HSUPA technologies. The BLU Win Jr has dual SIM to be able to to use 2 different phone numbers in the same phone.

This cellphone also comes with a couple of interesting characteristics as Bluetooth (3.0) and Radio, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
