Celkon S1 Review

Celkon S1 is a not so powerful Android phone, counting with a good size 5-inches touch-screen, an extremely fast 1500 megahertz Quad-Core processor, a 13 MP back side camera and an 8 MP front side camera.

Celkon decided to design this phone using a high performance Quad-Core processor running at 1500 megahertz and only 1 GB of RAM which is a bit disappointing comparing with its impressive processor. A good advantage of this phone is its quite big 16 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card, allowing you to install a couple hundred applications without worrying about space.

Being just 0.35 inches thick,the Celkon S1 is very slim and good-looking. This cellphone is only 5.67" long, but it still manages to hold a 5 inches screen. The Celkon S1 is much lighter than what you expect from a cellphone this size.

The Celkon S1 has a incredible 5-inches display with a 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) resolution, which makes it impossible to even see the pixels composing the display. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

This phone offers wifi connectivity (which it can provide to other devices as a mobile hotspot) and the fastest 3G data connection, over HSPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone comes with 2 SIM cards so it's able to work with 2 different phone lines or carriers in the same phone.

This device has two cameras, a 13 megapixels back camera and an 8 megapixels front side camera. Additionally, the camera counts with a few nice characteristics like flash, geo tagging and auto-focus.

This cellphone has a huge 2300 mAh Li-Ion removable battery, which isn't very much for a cellphone like this.

This cellphone also includes a couple of useful characteristics like Bluetooth (allows communication with other bluetooth phones, computers and accessories), GPS Geolocation and Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
