Dell Flash Review

Dell Flash is a decently made Android device, packed with a medium 3.5 inches touch-screen, a powerful 800 megahertz processor and a 5 megapixels back-facing camera. Let's take a closer look at what this phone can give us.

Dell decided to equip this phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 MSM7230 system chip, backed up by a powerful CPU ticking at 800 megahertz and 512 MB RAM memory.

This cellphone is quite thin, but it's not so thin as many other phones in the market, with a thickness of 0.43". Dell didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 4.06 ounces cellphone.

The Dell Flash only has a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera. Additionally, this cellphone's camera also counts with auto-focus and digital image stabilization.

Dell packed this cellphone with a very good 3.5" display, and a 800 x 480 resolution, which makes it hard to distinguish the pixels in the display. This display uses TFT yes technology, but it doesn't allow multi-touch gestures.

This phone includes Wi-Fi connection (although it can't be shared with other devices around, as a mobile mobile hotspot) and 3G fast connection type, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM networks.

This device also comes with a couple nice characteristics such as Bluetooth (for communication with other phones and accessories) and GPS Localization, and a few sensors likeProximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone has a 1300 mAh medium capacity Li-Ion replaceable battery that provides this cellphone a poor battery duration comparing with other similar phones. According to Dell, this cellphone has an estimated stand by time of 725 hs and a talk time of 12 hs.

Dell is selling the Dell Flash for $ 230, which is a very high price for a cellphone this level.
