HP Pre3 Review

HP Pre3 is a decent phone launched many years ago, packed with a 3.6 inches screen, a good performance processor running at 1400 megahertz, and 2 cameras, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front facing camera. Let's take a deeper view of what this device has to offer.

In this case, HP forgot about optimizing the weight, leaving it live with a weight of 5.5 oz. The HP Pre3 is a little bit thick for nowadays standards, with a thickness of 0.63".

This device is powered by a fast 1.4 gigahertz CPU and 512 MB of RAM memory. The HP Pre3 counts with a quite large 8 GB internal memory and whereas it doesn't include an SD memory card expansion slot, it is enough to install hundreds of applications and games, although it might not be enough if you are fan of the largest games currently available.

This cellphone has two cameras, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. This cellphone also films videos up to 1280x720 (HD). Additionally, this cellphone's camera also counts with flash.

This device includes a nice 800 x 480 3.6-inches screen, giving this cellphone a detailed graphical experience.

The HP Pre3 has WiFi capability (although it can't provide it to other devices acting as a router) and 3G fast data connection, supported by HSDPA, UMTS, EV-DO A and EDGE technologies. This device uses a SIM card to connect to GSM networks and it can work with both GSM and CDMA carriers.

This cellphone comes with a good 1230 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery, which is quite poor for a demanding cellphone like this.

This phone also features a couple useful characteristics like Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

HP offers this cellphone for $ 1590, which is very expensive for this kind of phone.
