HTC Desire 310 is an interesting Android device released in March 2014, packed with a 4.5 inches screen, an extremely fast 1300 MHz Quad-Core processing unit, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. But it's time to get into more detail.
HTC appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 4.94 ounces cellphone. The HTC Desire 310's thickness of 0.44" is quite far from nowadays standards, but it still feels in the hand.
HTC packed this phone with a very good 4.5" display, and a 854 x 480 resolution, providing this cellphone with a very good graphical experience.
The HTC Desire 310 is powered by a Mediatek MT6582M system chip, which holds a great Quad-Core processing unit clocking at 1.3 GHz and only 1 GB RAM memory which is a little disappointing comparing with this cellphone's great processor. Helping with graphic intensive apps, it also has an ARM Mali-400 MP2 graphic processing unit clocking at 416 megahertz. This cellphone comes with a decent 4 GB internal storage, which is enough for most users considering that this cellphone also has an SD memory card expansion slot to store songs, photos and videos.
This phone has two cameras, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front facing camera. Its back-facing camera has a maximum 2.8 aperture so it has difficulties taking nice photos in poor lighting conditions. It is capable of shooting videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD).
The HTC Desire 310 counts with wi-fi connectivity (but it can't provide it to other devices around, acting as a wireless router), 4G HSPA+ data connection, which is not as fast as LTE-A or LTE networks and 3G fast connection type, over HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The HTC Desire 310 supports dual SIM so it is able to use 2 different carriers or phone lines.
This cellphone counts with a medium 2000 mAh Li-Polymer removable battery, which is not really enough for a cellphone like this.
The HTC Desire 310 also includes a couple nice features as Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
HTC is selling this phone for $ 155, which is a high price for a cellphone this level. No matter whether you want this cellphone for playing games or are looking for a device to mainly use social networks and internet browsing, you will probably love this cellphone.
