HTC decided to design this cellphone using a powerful 800 MHz processor and 512 MB of RAM memory. The HTC Desire Z has a 1,5 GB internal storage memory, a decent amount that should be enough for the average user considering this cellphone also has a slot for an external memory card to store pictures and videos and even some apps and games that allow external memory installation.
HTC forgot about weight optimization in this 6.35 oz cellphone, way heavier than other similar phones. This phone is quite thick for nowadays standards, with a thickness of 0.56".
The HTC Desire Z is equipped with only a 5 MP back camera. It is also able to capture videos in 1280x720 (HD). To complete the camera, it also has some useful characteristics like auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.
This cellphone includes a good looking 3.7-inches screen with a 800 x 480 resolution, providing this device with a good level graphic quality. Its screen uses S-LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.
