BLU Life Pro Review

BLU Life Pro is a mid-end Android cellphone, having a comfortable 5-inches multi-touch screen, a high speed Quad-Core CPU running at 1.5 gigahertz, and 2 cameras, a 12 MP back facing camera and a 5 mega-pixels front side camera.

BLU sells the BLU Life Pro with a Mediatek MT6589T chip, backed up by a very fast 1500 MHz Quad-Core processing unit and only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little low for such a solid cellphone. Graphic calculations often eats lots of CPU time, so the BLU Life Pro counts with an additional 384 MHz PowerVR SGX544 GPU to help the CPU with those tasks. This phone comes with a 16 GB quite big internal storage and although it doesn't have an external memory card slot, it is enough to store a couple hundred games and apps, although it might not be enough if you are planning to install some of the largest games available nowadays.

The BLU Life Pro is much lighter than what one would expect from a phone like this. This cellphone is a very compact phone, considering it features a 5" screen and it's just 5.79 inches long and 2.84 inches wide. Being just 0.27" thick,this phone is very slim and comfortable. Talking about its body materials, the BLU Life Pro is mainly manufactured with Aluminium, which gives it a high quality look and an extra resistance. This phone is available only in black color.

The BLU Life Pro features two cameras, a 12 megapixels back-facing camera and a 5 MP front side camera. It can also capture videos in Full HD 1920x1080 at 30 fps. This cellphone also has a large number of valuable features like auto-focus, flash, face detection shooting, digital image stabilization, geo tagging and HDR mode.

The BLU Life Pro includes a interesting 1280 x 720 (HD) 5 inches display, which makes all pictures and videos look very good. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

The BLU Life Pro includes Wi-Fi connection (which can be provided to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G (HSPA+) connectivity, that is not as fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and fast 3G data connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM networks.

The BLU Life Pro counts with amassive 2500 mAh Li-Polymer removable battery that provides this phone a great battery life. BLU informs a stand by time of 900 hs and a talk time of 17 hours for this cellphone.

This phone also comes with a couple cool features as Bluetooth (4.0), GPS (Global Positioning System) and FM Radio, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone is not a good choice considering it costs $ 155, and some similar cellphones can be found for much less money. If you want this phone mainly for social networks and internet browsing, this cellphone is probably the correct choice for you.
