BLU Life Pro Review

BLU Life Pro is a pretty good cellphone, counting with a comfortable 5" multi touch display, an exceptional Quad-Core CPU speeding at 1500 megahertz, a 12 MP back side camera and a 5 mega-pixels front-facing camera. We will get a better idea about this cellphone's advantages when we get into deeper details.

Regarding its construction quality, this device is created with Aluminium, giving this cellphone a quality finish and improved resistance. This phone just has 5.79 inches long and 2.84 inches wide, but it is still able to fit a a 5 inches screen. This cellphone is very slim and stilized, with a thickness of just 0.27 inches. BLU just offers this cellphone in black color. BLU has made a really good job making this cellphone weight only 5.57 oz.

The BLU Life Pro comes with a Mediatek MT6589T system chip, backed up by an extremely powerful 1500 megahertz Quad-Core processor and only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a bit low for a cellphone of this level. Helping with graphic intensive tasks, it also has a PowerVR SGX544 GPU ticking at 384 MHz. An interesting aspect of the BLU Life Pro is its big 16 GB internal memory and even though it doesn't count with an SD extension slot, it is enough to install a couple hundred apps and games, but it may not be enough if you are fan of the heaviest games currently available.

The BLU Life Pro has a good looking 5-inches display with a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, which makes everything look vivid. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

This device features wifi capability (and it can share it with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), HSPA+ 4G internet connection, that is not as fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks and the fastest 3G connectivity, using HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card to use GSM services.

The BLU Life Pro is equipped with two cameras, a 12 MP back side camera and a 5 mega-pixels front camera. It is capable of filming 1920x1080 Full HD videos at 30 fps. The camera also has lots of valuable features: auto-focus, flash, face detection shooting, digital image stabilization, HDR mode and geo tagging.

This device has a great 2500 mAh Li-Polymer battery, enough to provide this device with an extremely long battery life. BLU reports a talk time of 17 hours and a stand by time of 900 hs for this phone.

This phone also features a couple of interesting features such as Bluetooth (enables communication with other bluetooth devices, computers, and accessories), GPS Localization and FM Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone is not a very good choice considering it is priced $ 155, and some similar devices are being sold much cheaper than that. If you are looking for a phone to mainly use social networks and internet browsing, you will definitely love this cellphone.
