HTC DROID DNA Review

HTC DROID DNA is an incredible cellphone released back in 2012, featuring a high speed Quad-Core CPU clocking at 1.5 gigahertz, a good size 5-inches multi touch display, an 8 MP back side camera and a 2.1 megapixels front side camera. The HTC DROID DNA is only 5.55" long, but it's able to fit a a 5 inches screen. The HTC DROID DNA has an inspired design, with a thickness of just 0.38 inches. The HTC DROID DNA is much lighter than what you would expect from a phone of this size.

HTC decided to build this phone with a very fast Quad-Core processing unit clocking at 1500 megahertz, packed into a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 system chip and a big 2 GB of RAM. Graphic rendering generally uses lots of processor time, so it counts with an additional 400 MHz Adreno 320 graphic processing unit to take some work out of the processor. A good point of this device is the 16 GB quite big internal memory and while it doesn't include an SD extension slot, it should be enough to store a couple hundred games and apps, but it probably wouldn't be suitable if you are planning to install a couple of the heaviest games currently available or taking tons of pictures and videos.

This phone includes a spectacular 5 inches screen with a 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) resolution, making everything look brightful and colorful. Its screen uses S-LCD 3 capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back side camera and a 2.1 MP front camera. It can also capture videos in Full HD 1920x1080. In addition, the camera has a high number of cool features: flash, fast burst mode, auto-focus, HDR mode, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

This cellphone has a 2020 mAh amazing Li-Polymer replaceable battery, which is not really enough for a highly consuming cellphone like this. HTC informs a 12.8 hs talk time and a 353 hs stand by time for this cellphone.

This cellphone features Wi-Fi connection (and it can be shared with other devices acting as a wireless router or modem), 4G LTE high speed connectivity and fast 3G connectivity, using HSPA, UMTS, EV-DO A and EDGE technologies. The HTC DROID DNA works with a Micro SIM card for GSM networks and it can work with both GSM and CDMA carriers.

The HTC DROID DNA also includes a wide range of great characteristics like Wireless charging system, NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your cellphone close to another NFC device or tag), Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Navigation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This device may not be so convinient considering it is sold for $ 199, and other similar phones are quite cheaper than that. If you want a gaming cellphone, will use this cellphone for work, will use it as a social cellphone or are a photography fan, this cellphone is probably the correct option for you.
