HTC HD7 is a mid level Windows Phone 7.5 Mango phone launched back in 2010, with a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera, a 4.3-inches display and a 1 GHz CPU.
This phone is thin and practical, but it's not as slim as many other phones nowadays, with a thickness of 0.44". The HTC HD7 just has 4.8" long, but it manages to hold a 4.3" display. HTC didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 5.71 oz cellphone.
HTC decided to power this device using a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 QSD8250 chip, including a fast 1000 megahertz processor and 576 MB of RAM memory. To collaborate with graphic calculations, it also has an Adreno 200 graphics processing unit ticking at 128 MHz. A good feature of this phone is its quite big 16 GB internal storage and even though it doesn't count with a slot for an external memory card, it should be enough to store a couple hundred games and applications, but it may not be enough if you are fan of the heaviest games currently available or taking tons of photos and videos.
This phone has a good level 4.3 inches screen with a 800 x 480 resolution, which makes everything look vivid. Its screen uses LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.
The HTC HD7 counts with wifi connectivity (although it can't be provided to other devices as a mobile hotspot) and 3G fast connectivity, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM networks.
The HTC HD7 is equipped with only a 5 MP back camera. This cellphone can also capture videos in HD 1280x720. This cellphone also counts with auto-focus and flash.
This cellphone has a good 1230 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery, which is quite poor for a thirsty cellphone like this. HTC afirms this phone has a stand by time of 310 hs and a talk time of 6.3 hours.
This cellphone also includes a couple useful features as Bluetooth (2.1, EDR), GPS Geolocation and Radio, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This cellphone is priced about $ 180, which is high for comparing with similar phones.
