HTC Touch Diamond is a fair quality phone released some years ago, in 2008, coming with a 2.8" display, a 528 MHz CPU and a 3.2 mega-pixels back camera.
HTC decided to power this phone with a fast 528 MHz processor, bundled in a Qualcomm MSM7201 chip and just 192 MB of RAM. This phone comes with a 4 GB internal memory, a common quantity but may be a little insufficient knowing that this phone doesn't have a slot for an SD memory card to store additional apps and games, songs, photographs, videos.
The HTC Touch Diamond is quite thin, but it's not as thin as many other phones nowadays, with a thickness of 0.45". This phone is 4.01 inches long and 2" wide, it just holds a smaller 2.8" screen. The HTC Touch Diamond feels quite heavy for a phone of this size, weighting 3.88 ounces.
This cellphone is equipped with only a 3.2 megapixels back facing camera. In addition, the camera includes auto-focus.
HTC designed the HTC Touch Diamond with a nice 2.8-inches display, and a 640 x 480 (VGA) resolution, which makes it hard to distinguish the pixels that compose the display. This display uses TFT resistive technology, but it doesn't allow multi-touch gestures.
The HTC Touch Diamond comes with a 900 mAh low capacity Li-Polymer battery that can keep this device running for many hours, but you may need to charge it even after moderate usage. HTC informs a 285 hours stand by time and a 5.5 hs talk time for this cellphone.
This cellphone has wifi connection (but it can't provide it to other devices around, acting as a modem or router) and fast 3G connection type, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card for GSM services.
This cellphone also comes with a few nice features as Bluetooth (enables communication with other phones, computers and accessories), GPS and FM Radio, and Accelerometer.
The HTC Touch Diamond is being sold for around $ 139, expensive for a cellphone this level.
